Sally Covington, MA

Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor

Sally, a warm and humanistic psychotherapist, listens carefully and without judgment to help individuals alleviate distress, improve self-understanding and acceptance, deepen relationships, and build greater resilience to “bounce forward” from life’s difficulties.

Her primary goal is to establish a respectful, collaborative, safe, and healing environment for her clients. She aims to provide relief from emotional distress, offer insight and perspective, and support personal growth in desired and unexpected ways.

Sally welcomes dialogue about her clients’ personal histories, areas of struggle and strength, moments of feeling stuck or hopeful, and the changes they seek to make. With her expertise, she has assisted adults, couples, and children from diverse races, cultures, and backgrounds in addressing various challenges, including anxiety and depression, trauma, relationship issues, sexual and gender identity, grief and loss, and navigating life transitions.

Sally is a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor, and is supervised by Kirsten Maier, Licensed Clinical Psychologist (CA 32524).
